Yann SOUGEY-FILS

I have been an illustrator since 2003. I initially lent my brushes to the imagination of fairy tale books before making a notable entry into the world of the ninth art with the release of my first comic book titled "The Witch's House," inspired by the eponymous short story by H.P. Lovecraft. With about ten albums to my name, I explore a variety of themes, from personal stories (Diabetes of My Life - Le diabète de ma vie) to biographical tributes (Johnny Hallyday), not to mention roots of the land (Journey to the Heart of Cantal - Voyage au coeur du Cantal). A passionate all-rounder, I extend my graphic universe into three dimensions through resin sculpture, bringing portraits and figurines for board games to life. My driving force? An endless fascination with the fantastical and science fiction.

J'ai d’abord prêté ses pinceaux à l’imaginaire des livres de contes avant de faire une entrée remarquée dans le monde du neuvième art en 2019 en sortant ma première BD intiltulée "La maison de la Sorcière", inspirée de la nouvelle éponyme de H.P. Lovecraft.. Avec une dizaine d’albums à mon actif, j'explore des thèmes variés, du récit intime (Le diabète de ma vie) aux hommages biographiques (Johnny Hallyday), sans oublier les racines du terroir (Voyage au cœur du Cantal).

Touche-à-tout passionné, je prolonge mon univers graphique en volume à travers la sculpture sur résine, donnant vie à des portraits et des figurines de jeux de société. Mon moteur ? Une fascination sans borne pour le fantastique et la science-fiction.
